Are you homeless on the Isle of Man? We're here to help. We provide a free drop-in for food, drinks, clothing, bedding, a shower and a safe social space. We also provide emergency overnight shelter.

Drop-in Opening Hours

Our drop-in at The Alpha Centre (see below) is open as follows:

Monday: 10.00 - 14.00

Tuesday: 12.30 - 14.00

Wednesday: 10.00 - 14.00

Thursday: 10.00 - 14.00

Friday: 10.00 - 14.00

Saturday: closed lunchtime

Sunday: 12.30 - 14.00

Evening drop-in every night between 21.00 and 22.00.

The office mobile at the drop-in is 304381, during our opening hours.


Emergency Night Shelter


Emergency overnight accommodation is available for any adult over the age of 18.

Every night from 21.00 to 07.30.

Entry through the drop-in 21.00 to 22.00. Entry after 22.00 is at our discretion.

Welcome to Graih, a Manx word meaning love and charity that no-one can pronounce! We are a small charity based in Douglas in the Isle of Man seeking to love and serve the homeless and those in insecure accommodation. Please look around to find out more about us.

We are very proud to have been part of the island's first-ever Homeless Health Needs Audit. This exciting partnership provides data for the first time on health and homelessness in the Isle of Man. The results can be accessed in our Resources section above.

We are particularly interested in exploring supported accommodation here on the island. This is an area of great need on the island and could range from supporting people to maintain their tenancies to houses of hospitality taking people in. We would love to speak to anyone who would like to be involved in any way. Please contact Erica Irwin on the details below.

Regular and One-off events

Prayer: regular prayer throughout the week (Mon., Wed., Fri.),  09.15 - 09.45.

Prayer evening for Graih and Stauros: Sunday 8th September, 19.30 at 11 Hilary Road. It would be lovely to see you there.

Volunteer evenings; a chance to meet, catch up and be encouraged! Meet 19.30 - 21.00. Dates as follows:
